Directions from Boston
After a lot of trial and error, we recommend Route 2 out of Boston. For us, it was about 25 minutes shorter than taking the Pike to 91N (going 75MPH). We've also tried going north out of Boston to New Hampshire, taking 93 as well as Route 3, and then cutting west, but this also took longer and dropped us into 30 miles of strip-mall traffic, on Rte. 101.
